University Accounting Services (UAS) provides essential accounting services to Texas A&M University as well as other Texas A&M System members. Our services fall in the areas of Banking, E-Commerce, Departmental Reporting, and Tax Compliance and Reporting. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Producing the Annual Financial Report (AFR) and other financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations, for employee, student and vendor taxable events
• UBIT, TRS reporting and Independent Contractor review
• Processing payroll cost transfers
• Managing e-Commerce activities and ensuring PCI compliance
• Managing banking arrangements, processing wire transfers, and preparing bank and clearing account reconciliations
• Providing non-research sponsored project accounting services
• FAMIS account maintenance including new account setup
• Student, state, gift and endowment accounting
